Gorō’s art includes more than ten woodblock prints featuring birds. Sixteen examples are included in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. For most of these prints (i.e., pictures 1-13) Gorō used a drawing style in which bird shapes were distorted and their colors falsified. This style is popular with modern artists but it may not appeal to all viewers because it looks amateurish.
